What’s the oldest things you’re wearing today?
Wearing, as considering what I dress into each day is renewed… All that was old has been replaced, and yet it is not clothes alone to come to mind when I think on the word wearing…
The oldest thing today I am wearing, is something that is weighing on me… We learn throughout our journey through life to learn from our past and to leave said past behind that we can move forward into the future, an yet until troubles are solved- that past it stays with us, wearing us down from one day to the next…
In my walk with Jesus I give all my troubles and all my thanks and praise to Him, and yet- there are still some things that sneak up on me from time to time to remind me that I have more work to do in faith and in the way God is working in me…
The greatest trouble that wears me down today is thoughts of reconciling with family. Among some we had many a bad day, and yet we all managed to move forward in our own way…
The more we forget, or try to put aside these things we need to do while we still have time, the more God reminds us that these things need to be done… Without Jesus, procrastination becomes a way of life…
It may be procrastination, but of these members of my family, wounds run deep… I have decided to contact them when I am better secured in work and in life- when I am more stable ony feet…
The LORD also reminds us that there is a time and a place for everything…
I believe it is not yet the right time or the right place… In all our dealings in Christ Jesus,bwe have to have faith, for it is Jim in faith that guides us along the way…
In all our attempts to leave that past behind, there is a trail behind us that can lead us into instant rewind.
